The 3/8 Inch Brass Compression Sleeve is a high-quality, lead-free compliant product designed for reliable connections in plumbing applications. Constructed with a three-piece design that includes a nut, sleeve (or ferrule), and body, this compression sleeve is versatile and easy to use. It is compatible with copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing (note: plastic requires a 60P sleeve and 61P insert). With a temperature range from negative 65 degrees Fahrenheit to plus 250 degrees Fahrenheit, this sleeve is suitable for a variety of applications.

  • Standard fittings use short nuts; long nuts available for higher vibration applications
  • To purchase compression fittings with long nut, add a '1' in front of the part number (e.g., 68 becomes 168)
  • Easy to disassemble; no flaring tool required
  • Primary uses include water, gasoline, oil, and vacuum lines
  • Assembly Instructions:
  • 1. Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing
  • 2. Slide the nut, then the sleeve onto the tube (ensure thread faces the end)
  • 3. Insert the tube into the fitting
  • 4. Thread the nut onto the fitting until snug, then follow these guidelines: Up to 1/4 inch = 1-1/4 turns, 5/16 inch = 1-3/4 turns, 3/8 inch and up = 2-1/4 turns
